movin' on up...

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted here, but it's been a busy month!  Jamie and I moved, and of course I had quite a job supervising the move, and then inspecting the premises to make certain it was Ziggy-friendly.

Jamie is still working nights, but since I've been officially labeled "house trained", I get to sneak up on the futon and have a nap at night (or during the day) rather than be confined to my kennel.  (Jamie makes me go in my kennel when she's away from the house--as I'm not that trustworthy yet.  For example, I decided to help her utilize her toilet paper by unrolling it for her and leaving it strew about the bathroom floor.  I can't for the life of me figure out why this was deemed "bad."  I was just helping, by Crikey.)

I've met lots of new dogs in the new place, including another Westie named Claire.  She's six and a half years old, and I'm just a pup (though I will be one years old in March--where does the time go?)  I like other dogs, but they often aren't so sure about me.  I also love people and get over excited when I meet them.  This causes a bit of havoc in tight spaces like the elevator, but what can I say?  I'm just a friendly guy.

Jamie has been taking me on nice long walks on her days off, and I'm exploring the new neighborhood in due course.

Hope this New Year has been treating you all well, dear readers.  Til next time!

  1. We've never had to move. It sounds like a lot of work for you....you must be supervising big time.

Congratulations on being 'free' most of the time. We don't understand what was wrong with the TP unrolling. Humans....who can figure them out.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  2. Oh, I'm supervising alright. Making sure the dog food goes where it's supposed to (in my dish, then in my belly) and that I get plenty of walks and face-time with Jamie, even though she's a sleepy-head when she's off of work. And the TP unrolling thing--I can't figure out humans either. I was just helping "pre-unroll" the TP for her. She should have been happy!

  3. Sounds like the move went well, with your help. Now the fun begins, exploring.
